Blyth Hazen, Professor, Montserrat College of Art
I am interested in the intersection of technology and culture. This focus carries into both my studio and my teaching practice.
For the past decade, I have collaborated with Jennifer Hall and others, on several large-scale robotics installations - mechanical meditations about technology's impact on body and the environment.
More recently, my work and interest turns toward pop culture, video games and hand held technology.
At Montserrat College of Art I teach animation and new media courses.
